Inumukifudo waterfall

60 minutes walk from Mt.Arafune.With a drop of 50 meters, this is a rare waterfall which can be viewed from behind.A sacred place where ascetic monks used to practice taki-gyo (practice of standing under a waterfall).During the Fudoson festival on April 28th, visitors from all over lined up to create a long procession of paper lanterns.This now takes place at Kichijo temple.
